All pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 in state-funded schools in England should be offered a free school meal.
Whilst we encourage all parents to pre-order their child's meals, if you haven't been able to do this your child can Mrs Ayed that they'd like a hot school meal when asked as part of the morning registration process.
Just because your child gets a free school meal please don't forget to apply for Pupil Premium if you think your circumstances mean you may qualify.
