Key websites to support homework and home learning

These are some of the key learning platforms we use in school and they are a valuable resource to support learning at home learning. Children all have logins in the back of their planners. If your child is without their login, please get in touch with their class teacher by email or google classroom. Homework will be set weekly to some of these platforms so please do get in touch if your child is struggling to log in. 

  • Spelling shed Weekly spellings will be set on here. Each week, the class with the most points will be announced in assembly.
  • Reading Eggspress Homework will be set on here each week and there is also access to an online library of books
  • Mathletics Homework will be set on here each week and there are also leagues to play in online
  • Times Table Rock Stars TT Rock stars is a great way to improve speed at recalling your times tables! Why not play along at home as well as at school?
  • Math Shed A great way to learn your times tables or improve your speed!
  • Hit the Button Times tables practise against the clock - just like we do in our times tables tests!

Although it is a bit long, this video explains long division really clearly and gives more than one example to help cover any long division difficulties you may find yourself having!
