Barwic Parade Community Primary School’s curriculum aims to give all children a sense of the wider world and as such throughout their time at Barwic Parade all children will learn and experience elements of all 7 of the world’s continents. Throughout our curriculum, children’s global knowledge is interwoven into all elements of learning. To bring this to life further, every half term Barwic Parade will deliver a whole school event, learning more about a specific country, region or continent, giving them opportunity to explore and engage with a variety of first-hand different cultural capital experiences. This will them develop and secure their knowledge of the world, building upon their understanding and tolerance of different diverse cultures, inspiring them to explore the world beyond their immediate neighbourhood and local community as they continue their Barwic journey through school.
