Swimming + Multi Sports
On Tuesday 10th January 2017 a group of Year 5/6 children took part in a swimming competition at Selby Leisure Centre. Each child has the opportunity to compete in two swimming races (front crawl, breaststroke, backstroke, medley relay and freestyle relay). All the children got fulling involved and showed excellent sportsmanship throughout the competition. Some of the highlights: Grace Pownall came first in her 25m front crawl race and Barwic came first overall in the freestyle relay race.
Overall Barwic Parade came second out of six schools from the Selby cluster, what a fantastic achievement!
The children then took part in a number of different multi sport activities.
