  • Fundraising - NSPCC & SignHealth

Wed 10 Feb 2016 Miss Walker, Mrs Olson & Mrs Guilliatt

We'd like to say a big thank you to our school community for getting behind our NSPCC Big Number and SignHealth Days.

We raised £185 for NSPCC and it was great to see so many parents join us for time in our classrooms, from Lower Foundation all the way up to Year 6. Thank you.

We also raised a great £110.32 from selling biscuits at play times which will benefit SignHealth.

    THANK YOU

  • Young Voices

    Tue 19 Jan 2016 Mrs Helen Somers-Joce
We took 41 pupils to the Young Voices event at Sheffield Motorpoint Arena yesterday. We had an amazing time and some of our children and staff even had a few seconds of fame on BBC Look North. With great seats in the arena which gave the pupils a great view of the performances. Parents who also attended the concert have shared with us that they found the whole event very moving, especially for those parents who recognised that for their child maybe this would be the last time they would be at a Young Voices concert (as their child is due to move to high school in the Autumn). Watch out for our full coverage in the next school newsletter.

  • Manchester United

Thu 29 Oct 2015 Jean Grant

We were very lucky to be able to take some of our Key Stage 2 children to watch Manchester United vs Middlesbrough.

We hope the children enjoyed the atmosphere of Old Trafford, despite the 3.5 hours journey there and then again back. Thank you to all parents for their understanding. We do appreciate that it was a very late night for all.
